The Cisco 7400 Series router is a compact, single-rack unit (RU) with front-to-back airflow and a single port adaptor slot. The 7400 Series has fixed 10/100/1000 Mbps ports that maximize land area network (LAN) connectivity without requiring extra rack space. The NSE-1 processor with Parallel Express Forwarding (PXF) technology enables high-performance, high-touch IP services and the wide range of wide area network (WAN) media interfaces allow for flexible network configurations. This router also features Service Connection Manager (SCM) for simple deployment and network management.
