Cisco Circuit Emulation (CEM), Content Engine (CE) & Compression (COMPR) Network Modules

Cisco Circuit Emulation & Content Engine Network Modules (CEM and CE) are designed to support the use of an IP network to provide a point-to-point, bit-transparent data stream between two endpoints, while the COMPR (Compression) Network Module compresses and decompresses data passing through interfaces on other network modules or WAN interface cards in your router. All of these network modules can be added to provide additional functionality as your network expands.
